Firefox presenting excessive ads blotting content!

ChuckinRaleigh
Making moves

In the last few weeks I have noticed my Web pages being overrun with excessive ads on Firefox for all sites, but particularly WSJ, Fox Business, Fox News, .....  This has forced me to try MS Edge again and I've been pleasantly surprised by the lack of ads.  Firefox has reached the point where 1/3 of my screen is now ads and limiting my view of content. Did they forget there are other choices in Browsers?

I'll continue with Edge and possibly check back with Firefox, but maybe not!

Mozilla has chosen not to ship any ad blocking technology in Firefox by default. This is to prevent confusion and encourage free choice, apparently.

But if you want to block ads (I believe the average person does!), I'd recommend uBlock Origin from the official Mozilla addon site.
