For a long time FF would keep Mozilla Login when history was cleared. 🙂
Years back, after an update, FF would clear Login when history was cleared requiring you reenter Login password. 🙁
Comments were made about Mozilla fixing the introduced problem in future FF update, has never happened. ☹️
Mozilla support was asked if there was an option in about:config to stop clearing of Mozilla Login when history was cleared, nothing back. 😟
Using Private Browsing (purple mask) vs. clearing history isn't an option. Since numerous sites won't function properly with Private Browsing. 😤
Thus, opening a Discussion on getting Mozilla to add an about:config option to not clear Mozilla Login when history is cleared. Return functionality like it used to be. For security reasons, Exiting FF would clear Mozilla Login, regardless of option's setting.
