Default brouser setting

Each time I restart my computer, it ask me to make Firefox default browser, I have made it default browser many a times, but each time I again restart, it again ask same question. Kindly let me know, how to make it permanently.

I also find I cannot set the current version of the browser to default, period.. just refuses to set..

Using WinDoze 8.0.. Firefox 108.0.1
