I am finding it incredibly frustrating to select a specific device for microphone/speakers/webcam, particularly the microphone.
Multiple applications have virtual audio devices that get selected instead of my actual microphone.
I have look through the settings and I can only find "specify which websites can use your microphone". I have tried setting the input/output in the windows 10 sound mixer options aka "app volume and device preferences". The popup asking if I want to allow a page to use my microphone does not let me change which device either like here.
Some pages let me select a device like guilded here, but I am not confident that will hold universally. In addition having to guess which device is my microphone, and use the popup menu to confirm without clicking remember choice, is a pain.
